Sir please suppose that what if i fail in one subject ,say.,maths in cbse board exams after result announcement? Will I pass or what will happen?

If you fail in a particular subject the surely you will have to face certain problems in future regarding admission in Colleges or during job interviews.

However, if you want to clear that paper and want to pass in it then you will have to appear as a private candidate to give improvement paper the year after and can clear it as well.

I would like to tell you that if you fail in any of the important subjects like English then you may have to reappear for board exam next year. But if you fail in Mathematics or any of the subject which is not an important subject than you can give an improvement paper of that subject only in the next year.

Failing in important subject is like repeating the class again and for which you are not eligible to take admission in some of the college but failing in one subject which is not an important subject can be ignored and if you wish to you can give reappear for that particular subject and which doesn't become a barrier for your college admission.

You will get a chance to write a supplementary exam next year. For that you will have to fill a form in sept or oct . This form you can get easily from your School or any stationary shop where forms are being sold. You will have to pay some registration fees along with it.

If you fail's in one subject that doesn't means that you fail's in clearing class. As you thinking that probably you doesn't pass in one of subject then you will get Compartment or Re-Appear in that particular subject. If you get re-appear in more than one subject then you are fail until you get compartment.

Once you get compartment then Board will provide you an opportunity to clear that subject again. You just have to fill compartment form and register for exam.After one month exam will re-conduct by board for re-appearing students who's result will announce after 20 - 30 day's.

if you fail there will be chance for you to clear the subject
there will be supplementary exams for those who failed in one or more subjects
if you fail again after attempting for the supplementary exams then you have to attempt again for supplementary exams conducted next year
failing in the exams creates a wrong impression on you when are sitting for a interview for a job
so better clear all the subjects in the first attempt .study well

If you get failed in a certain subject then you will have one chance to appear in that subject as a supplementary or which is called the compartment exam.

If you get failed in that too then you will have to clear that examination as a private student because it can be problematic for you in your job interviews and while chhosing the college for your higher studies.

If you fails in any one of five subjects in 10th board then you'll not be promoted.you'll be failed. You must've to qualify all the five subjects.

If however you got less than 30 marks in any subject then it'll be comparted.you can give the compartmental examination of the particular subject in which you got less than 30 marks.If you qualifies the examination the you'll be promoted.

Sir I am not a very good student but fine .I got 85% of marks in sa1 but in ssa2 my performance was very good but in mathematics subject I didn't write even the passing marks what will haapen to my results ? Can I pass or not ?

If you fail in one subject in your board exams then you should apply for improvement exam. And you can also reappear in your class

Sir, I am giving boards this year. So, My math's didn't go well at all. So, if I fail in Math's would I fail in board or I can give only a supplementary exam in Math's if I don't fail in other 5 ?

As per CBSE Examination rules, a student is declared pass if he passes in English and 4 other subjects. So, if you fail in 2 subjects than you will be considered failed and need to appear for compartment exams. And hence you will not be eligible for admission to undergraduate courses in any university.
