No, mathematics is not compulsory for both the courses. 12th passed candidates in commerce can try for B.Com. After completing B.Com degree, you can look for MBA. MBA can be pursued by graduates of any stream. CAT, MAT, etc are some of the entrance test conducted for selection process.
