My daughter is studying in CBSE XII std. in NOIDA(UP). She was born in Chennai. Parents also born in Tamil Nadu as also schooling & college education. Is my daughter eligible to apply for tamil nadu engineering entrance examination. What is the eligibility criteria? Is nativity certificate to be obtained. Please le me know the formalities to be completed?

There is nothing formalities for MBBS. even so tamilnadu government stops entrance exam at 2006. Now they have certain eligible criteria to MBBS as well as Engineering too.

If your daughter wants to enter into MBBS, your daughter should score more marks in the following subjects physics, chemistry, biology.

procedure to go for MBBS:

You should divide by 4 each subject (physics and chemistry)
so physics 50 out of 50 and chemistry is also 50 out of 50
same procedure follows to biology but it should be divided by 2
it s like 100 out 100

so you will be getting 200 out 200. Tamilnadu government set their cut-off marks depends upon candidate marks & category wise.

Minimum cut-off for general category is we may expect above 190 out 200
for other categories cut-off we may expect above 180.

When you reach the cut-off what i mentioned above, you can join in either Government MBBS colleges or some other Government aided.

otherwise there are number of self financing MBBS institution in tamilnadu, you can also join in this too.

I was born in kerala , so as my parents but for job reasons my parents moved to Coimbatore ,TN.Hence forth i did my schooling from 5th to Btech in Coimbatore. All my driving licence , ration card ,10 &12th certificates ,my house everthing is from tamilnadu and to add my parents voter ids are also from tamil nadu. MY QUESTION IS WHAT NATIVITY AM I?????AND WHAT SHOULD I FILL IN FOR TANCET APPLICATION FORM??????

my son was born in Madurai in 1995 however he studied in Tamilnadu for 5 years between 2001 to 2005 . Later he moved to other states and he has studied in Karnataka from 7th to 12th in bangalore. If he wants to apply for Engineering college in Tamilnadu should he obtain a nativity certificate? if so where should we apply for the same. Is it in Tamil nadu or Karnataka since I was born and brought up in Karnataka.

I was born in tamil Nadu, but my son was born in Trivandrum in Kerala. Is he eligible for TNEA? He has done his schooling in Kerala.

actually my birth place is manipur and studying bca three year degree in tamil nadu.when the counselling for TANCET marksheet for mca admission nativity certificate of tamil nadu is need or not.

My son was born in Kerala but studied throughout in Tamil Nadu is he eligible to get MBBS seat in Tamil Nadu or will it be rejected saying that he was born in Kerala Now when I fill in an application in the column of nativity should I mention Kerala or tamil nadu we are malayalees please reply
