which subject would help me in preparing for ias? i have just passed 12 from commerce maths stream

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. It is one of the popular civil service in India.

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates in order to be placed in IAS is Graduation.

All the candidates who have completed Graduation with any of the stream are eligible to give civil services exam.

No minimum percentage of marks are required for the candidates in Graduation.

The complete selection procedure is
-Civil Services Aptitude Test
-Civil Services Main Exam
-Interview

CSAT Exam is the common written exam for the candidates to be placed in various civil services like
-IAS
-IPS
-IFS etc.

As per the optional subject for Main Exam, both the Commerce and Mathematics subjects are there in the list of optional subjects for Main Exam.

You can opt for your Graduation as per your interest with any of these subjects and choose the same as optional subject for Main Exam.
