Pradeep's is a good book for understanding theory and concepts as it is written in a very simple language. So, this book is definitely good for Board exam , however for competitive exam , you have to work beyond Pradeep.

In competitive exam , there are lots of tricky questions and also you have to finish whole paper in limited time , so you need extra practice.
You can use OP Tandon , JD Lee , they are specially for JEE.
You can use reference material of coaching institutes like FIITJEE, ALLEN , RESONANCE.
Other than reference books , you should enroll in a good test series for practice.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
