i am in 11th arts stream and really intrested to join indian army.can you kindly tell me the procedures about what to do after 12th? and can girls do NDA?

No, NDA is only for Boys.you can join army after doing graduation in any subjects with 60% marks.

Sorry to say But its a Fact that NDA is Not meant For Girls.

But yes there are lots of Entries Through which you can join yourself In army Or navy ..

Combined Defense Service is an Exam which can be given by Girls, University Entry Scheme is an Entry and SSC Technical Women's Entry .

Above named are the Entries you can Made only after your graduation. Even if you have NCC 'C' certification then from this also you can made a SSB Entry which is a direct Entry mode.

Except for CDSE exam all other Exams are Direct . Direct means you will face SSB directly after applying for that particular Entry.

Girls can not apply NDA exam
but if they want to go for Defence line they also try after graduation in Technical entry
so they also give the CDS exam.

NDA exam criteria:-

*Candidate minimum qualification is 12th science with Physics,Chemistry and math is the compulsory subject.
*Candidate must be an Indian.
*Age-16.5 to 19 years
*Question pattern:-
all questions are objective type
questions based on
aptitude
Reasoning
General english
General knowledge

Their is a very simple procedure you have to fill the NDA form if interested in army then tick to army or someone else like airforce/navey/merchant navey if interested in them.

Their is no procedure for girls to fill the form after 12th , this is only for boys.
Girls have this opportunity after the graduation through CDS examination

Hello,
The NDA examination is only for the Unmarried Boys and is not for the Girls so you can never apply for the examination.But you can join Indian Army through the combined defense services.But for this you will become eligible only after your graduation as the eligibility criteria for the examination is a candidate must be Graduate.
So first complete your Graduation and then apply for the examination.

Yes Girls can do it in NDA. Should be physically fit and appear for the NDA Exam.

N.D.A for admission army,navy,air force wings for National Defence Academy.

Sorry to say female candidates are not eligible.

But you can appear for C.D.S.E,I.E.S,I.A.S,I.P.S,I.F.S......etc.

C.D.S E Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination for admission,Indian Military Academy,Naval Academy,Air force and Officer's Training Academy Examination.

Your eligible for Officer Training Academy.For OTA,the applicants must be graduation completed from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination.

For OTA,the applicants age should between 19 years to 22 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Sorry to say that there is no allocation for girls in NDA(National Defence Academy).

As regarding the criteria's framed by NDA only unmarried male candidates are only eligible for the exam.

The eligibility criteria are:

The candidate must be a citizen of India and that the candidate must be a unmarried male candidate.

The candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

The candidate must have completed their +2 from a recognized board and for Navy and Air force wings they must have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects.

You can CDS exam as it is also a defence service exam where you can apply for
University Entry Scheme is an Entry and SSC Technical Women's Entry.

But for this exam you must have finished your degree as a minimum qualification.

Sorry to say ,there is no place for the girls in NDA exam .Only unmarried boys can apply for the exam .

But don't worry still you can join Indian army through CDS exam .For that you have to complete graduation .

So go for your graduation first and then try for defense .

you can't join indian army through NDA but if u want to join army then u have to complete graduation after that Indian Army has the induction of women into the officer cadre, and the onerous task of training them has undertaken by the Officers Training Academy . So far, more than 1200 Lady Cadets have already been commissioned into the various Armed Services of the Indian Army.You should be graduate to apply.

Procedure for a girl to join NDA after 12th?

I am so sorry to say you that you are not eligible to Sit in NDA exam because only Unmarried Male candidate is allowed to sit in NDA exam. The other criteria are as follows :

• AGE- 16.5 to 19 years
• Educational Qualification- 12th pass or appearing with Science stream and maths cumpulsory.

If you want to join Indian Army then you would be able to do that after Completing your Graduation.

You are eligible after your graduation in all respective branch of IAF.
Giving their best in every mission, women officers are present in all the branches of Air Force. As an officer with the Indian Air Force, you will lead and manage, and will be posted either as a Pilot, or a Navigator, or a Technical or a Ground Duty officer in any one of the Air Force bases.
You can begin your Air Force joining process, by sending in IAF your application for the relevant branch. They will scan your application, and based on merit, will call you to one of their selection boards. Candidates short-listed after the initial selection procedure, will go through a rigorous training regimen at one of the Air Force training establishments. After which they are given a short service commission as officers and posted at any of the Air Force Stations.

n.d.a is just based on talent ,confident and bravery nothing else . it is very hard to select in N.D.A Then in IIT.

Sorry to say the girls are not joining NDA for Indian Army. It is only for boys.

If you are interested to join Indian Army, after graduation you can apply for CDS Examination for Indian Army.

Well sorry to say but the girls can not prepare for the NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC.

The examination is conducted twice a year and any male students who have completed their class 12th can apply for the NDA exam

The NDA examination is done in three phases ::

1.Written exam
2.SSB
3.Medical .

Written examination consist of two papers ::

Paper I:: It carries 300 Marks and is of maths and duration of the examination is 2-1/2 hours

Paper II ::It carries 600 marks and duration of the examination is 2-1/2 hours .It consist of English and General ability paper.

General Ability Test will be broken into 6 parts. The allocated marks are:

Physics – This topic will carry 100 marks.
Chemistry – This topic will carry 60 marks.
General section – This topic will carry 40 marks.
History, Freedom Movement – This topic will carry 80 marks.
Geography – This topic will carry 80 marks.
Current Events – This topic will carry 40 marks.

Eligibility for the exam ::

Only Indian male citizen can apply for the exam.

You should be have passed your class 12th examination in any streams for the ARMY and you must have physics and maths a s a compulsory subjects for the NAVY and AIR FORCE .

You should be between 16.5 to 19 years

There is also another opportunity for a girl in Army(Medical).There are two Entrance Exam From Where you can join For M.B.B.S .

1. ACMS (Army college of Medical science ): For those who have at least one of their parents in Army.

2. AFMC(Armed Force Medical College) : For Every One Who is citizen Of India .

There are also other course offered other than M.B.B.S Such as
BDS
B.Sc Nursing etc

But if you still want to join in Indian defense then , I will suggest you to go for graduation course first..

After completion of graduation course you will be able to apply for CDS exam.

great opportunity in army as technical graduate, now your question will be how to join army??

the answer is UPSC has2 schemes:
1) technical graduate scheme
2)NCC direct entry scheme

They have been further classified below:

If your are selected here you will undergo a MEDICAL test and then you have to wait for you merit list to come...

if you are in the list you can serve the army..!!!
