NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.eNDA-I and NDA-II.This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 1995 and not later than 01st July, 1997 are eligible.
[FONT=Calibri](16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence.)[/FONT]
Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university
Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

You can join NDA by qualifying an entrance exam. This entrance exam is conducted by UPSC. General aptitude and mathematics will be asked for NDA entrance exam. Qualifying the entrance allows you to join army. You can join any of the defense wings, if you study physics and mathematics at 12th.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in year i.e NDA-I and NDA-II.

NDA has three wings:

Indian Army
Indian Navy
Indian Air Force

Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam:

Nationality:

Candidates must be Citizen of India.

Educational qualification:

Candidates must be complete 12th standard or Equivalent examination from a recognized university.

To appear in Air Force/Navy Academy then you should complete 12th standard science stream (Physics and Mathematics).

There is no minimum percentage of marks require for this exam

Final year appearing students may also eligible for this exam.

Age limit:

Candidates should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

There is no age relaxation for this NDA exam.



Gender:

Male: Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam.

Female: Female candidates are not eligible for this exam.

Physical Requirements for NDA:

Army wings :- Acceptable height is 157.5 cms .

Navy wings :- Acceptable height is 157 cms .

Air force :- Acceptable height is 162.5 cms .

Check out the chart list wise height / weight requirements :-

Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms.

Written examination

Medical test

as you want to join nda after 12th, nda is conducted by upsc twice a year,

nda is conducted for selection in following wings of army :

indian air force
indian navy
indian army

eligibility for nda :

must be 12th passed

must be a citizen of india

must have studied pcm for air force and navy

age limit for nda is 6.5 to 19 years

no relaxation for nay

must be male

female candidates are not allowed

male must be unmarried

so these are the eligibility criteria for nda
