Can I do B.Ed via correspondence mode in Maharashtra?


I want to do b.ed from Maharashtra through correspondence course . i do not have any teaching experience from school, i do have teaching experience as a instructor in army in paramedical institute of 4 years. i have completed graduation with 45 percent , post graduation with 55 percent.

Yes, of course you can do B.Ed through Correspondence mode in Maharashtra. There are so many Universities, which offers B.Ed through Correspondence mode in Maharashtra.

Those candidates who are interested to apply for B.Ed must satisfy the below criteria,

A candidate should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University, with at least 50% marks. Those candidates are appearing in final year can also apply. Some reputed universities may demand at least one or two years teaching experience.

Since, you have scored 45% marks at Graduation so difficult for you get direct B.Ed admission. However, you can get try through Management quota. The admission to the B.Ed is based on the entrance exam performance.

Entrance Test of 100 marks will be conducted by the respective university, based on English Language proficiency, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Teacher Attitude and Teacher Aptitude.
