Hello,
I have completed my M.Phil in English Literature
and deliberately want to do PhD in English Literature.
Kindly tell me about the colleges in India
providing this PhD? And also tell me about
the entrance exam for admission?

For getting admission in Ph.D in English Literature you must have the minimum qualification which is a Master's degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University. You have M.Phil qualification and you are definitely eligible for Ph.D admission. In most of the Universities in India M.Phil qualified candidates are exempted from entrance exam for Ph.D admission. Those having NET/SLET/JRF qualification are also eligible for admission without any entrance exam.

I am M.A ( English) but don't have degree of M.phil in English but in Education..May I eligible for PhD in English without entrance

I have done M.A in English literature with just 50% but have done m.phil in English....am I eligible to do pH.D in English?
