No, there is no such difference between the school and the board examination. So you can appear in any of the examination.

But yes the board examination is considered as tough as compared to the school because in the particular case there is nervousness as the candidate have to go to the other centre for the examination where as in the school board you need not have to go to other centre for the examination.

So according to my suggestion you must appear in the board examination to remove out of fear which will help you in the higher studies. But there is no any difference in the examination.

There is no specific difference between the academics, syllabus and results of the both types of examinations where it is school based examination or board based examination.

The reason behind why the students opt for the board based examination over the school based examination as it gives the real feel of examination as one has to go to unknown center for their board examination which is not in the case of school based examination as it is held in the familiar environment.

This thing helps when one go for their higher studies examination or other competitive examination as one has to go to away centers for their examinations as they have the experienced it earlier which help then to keep them calm without getting nervous in these examination as these are career deciding examination.

So one must opt for the board based examination as it does not have much impact on the overall results as the weightage for this only 30% in overall results so that they judge themselves.

Because in Board Exams Question papers is same in each state and city means question paper is same in each corner of India all students have same question paper conducted by Board while in school based exams school will conduct the papers only for their own school , that's why Board exams are much more important then school based exams

Hello,

Board exams is given much more importance because Boards exam are conducted and scheduled by the Boards. While the school exams are conducted by the schools. As the school exams is held in your own, you may get some partial marks or leniency from the teachers of your school ,sometimes.
In Boards exam nobody will know you so, chances of partiality will never occurs.

So, Board exams has more value than schools exams.

Board Exams are given more preference as the questions for the Board Examination of a particular board are same throughout the country while the questions of school exams vary from school to school.
It is easier to evaluate students when the questions are same.
So the Board Examination is given much more importance.
There is no other particular reason as to why the Board Examination is preferred to School based Examination.

It is a myth that board exams are given higher preference or more importance than school based exams. Both are same officially. However, the conventional way of giving tenth board exams have not gone out of the mind of many people, hence they claim it to be more important. Moreover, many schools force their students to take up board based exams. Usually in board based exam, you get to know your national presence and there is no partiality which might creep in school based exam. Thus, many people prefer board based exam.

Board exams are given more importance because in these exams one has to be prepared well with syllabus as the exams are checked by the teachers of other schools and even the exams are sent for correction to other states hence there is no cheating at all in checking. But in school based exams, Teacher may partial in checking with one student or another and for their benefit also. Hence , prefer board exams if you want to know your exact position.
