The difference between school based exams and board based exams is that the school based exams are the internal exams which are conducted by the respective individual schools at the school level and these examination papers are evaluated by the school teachers itself whereas board based exams are conducted by respective board for all schools at the state or national level and these examination papers are evaluated by other school teachers. Examples for Board Based examinations are AP SSC, CBSE, ICSE, ISC, etc.

Difference between school based and board based examination is as follows :

-> School based exams dates and schedule is al set by the respective school, although the framework of exam date is provided by C.B.S.E. itself.
-> The evaluators for school based exams would be school teachers whereas in board based exams the evaluators will be external teachers.

School based exam means, the question paper will be prepared by the examination branch of your school, whereas board exam question paper will be prepared by the board, to which your school is affiliated. A student will appear for school based exam up to 9 standard, but in 10th standard, the student appear for board exam. After passing in 10th standard board exam, student can apply for admission in 11th standard.

The differences between school based and board based exam are:-

- In board based exam, question paper is prepared by the board and the answer sheets will be checked by the teachers of other schools as appointed by the board. On the other hand, in school based exam, question will be from board but the answer scripts will be checked by your school teachers.

- Since the school teachers will be checking for school based exams, so the level of question paper for school based exam will be tougher than that of board based exams.

No, there will not be any problem in getting admission in other schools if you opted for school based exam.

In School base examination examination is organised by school while in Board based examination is organised by relevant school board.

No you will never face any problem in getting admission in 12th standard. If you give school base examination then also you will be treated as same as if you give board base examination.

Hiii....

-School based exams are conducted by the schools itself. These exams can vary according to schools choice.

- Board based exams are conducted by particular board like PSEB, CBSE etc. These exams are same for all the schools that come under that particular board.

[I][COLOR="Sienna"]Hello,

School based exams are those which are conducted by the management of schools itself.

Board based exams are those which are conducted by the Recognized board of India like-CBSE,ISC or any other State board.

In class 10th and 12th you have to give board based exam without this you can not pass these classes.

In CBSE board you have a choice in class 10th whether to give school exam or board exam.

The main difference between school based exam and board based exam is that,
In school based final exam is conducted in the home center it means exam is in own school. But in case of bord based exam, final exam is conducted in any of the center of CBSE bord, this is the main difference.
