I have completed MA in English now I want to do PhD in English Please tell me date of entrance

You can apply for UGC NET for English subject. Once you clear this exam with a good score then you will be eligible for admission in PH.D without appearing for any other entrance exam.

There will be interview stage also and those who perform well in the interview stage will be shortlisted for admission. Hence, try to clear UGC NET.

The eligibility to study PhD in English is a pass in M.A in English with minimum of 55% marks. The aspirant has to appear for an entrance examination and interview for the admission. There is no upper age limit for this course. The course is available in the following universities;
