3. Computer Literacy : Not Mandatory

For IBPS Clerk exams:

1. Education: Graduate from any recognised university (just a pass percentage in graduation)

2. Age : Minimum - 20 years Maximum – 28 years

IBPS i.e Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and this examination is conducted for CWE (Common Written Examination) once in a year for admission to IBPS Probationary Officer and IBPS Clerical Officer.

To apply for this examination, the candidate need to hold a degree course from a recognized Institution. If your having degree course then definitely you are eligible to apply for this examination.

IBPS PO/MT Eligibility 2013 [New]

Education: A bachelor degree in any discipline with 60% marks from any recognised university or the equivalent qualification recognised by central government. There's relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD. However if SC/ST/PWD are filling in unreserved vacancies then, relaxation of 5% will not be applicable for them.

Along with this computer literacy is mandatory. Applicant must either have gained certificate/degree/diploma in computer operation/language or must have studied it (computer/IT) as a subject at school or college/institute level.

Age: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years.

IBPS PO/MT Eligibility 2013 [Latest]

Education: Just a bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognised university or the equivalent qualification recognised by central government. With no mention of necessity of computer literacy.

Conclusion: IBPS changed the old format with new one in 2013, but again after few days IBPS rolled back to old format. Hence, the old format is being followed as of now.
