How to join B.Tech in IIT after completing diploma? I am doing diploma in chemical engineering


Know i am doing diploma in chemical engineering 3 rd year. after completing my diploma, i wish to join b.tech in IIT. but i was studied in tamil medium school. so i have in confusion.

I wish to enter IIT after it.is it possible? & if
It is, then state the way to do this
My other question is- I want to do fundamental research in field of SCIENCE,not in ENGINEERING. Please reply.
