Yes, it is better to pursue higher education in food technology especially post graduation abroad due to the following factors.

- The foreign universities are ranked higher than Indian Institutes in terms of education in food technology.
- The infrastructure for better learning and experiment is more in foreign countries.
- Foreign countries readily incorporate scientific methods and technologies in their food sector too, thus, there is a huge scope after completion of higher studies abroad.
