Gujarat Technological University conducts a common entrance test GCET MBA test for the admission into the MBA courses offered by the University. The MBA course offered by the University is a two years programme. Gujarat Technological University is one of the most leading Universities in India providing innovative and systematic technical education to the students. The exam is conducted by the University each year. The aim of the University is to select most appropriate candidates for the MBA programme. So the exam is really tough and of high standard.

Structure of GCET MBA Test

The admission for the MBA courses is based on the score of the written exam. The test is mainly a computer based objective type question. It comprises of 150 questions carries 600 marks. The time for the exam will be two hours. The exam will be mainly to evaluate the candidates’ basic skills in reasoning, aptitude, English Language usage and general awareness. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer and one mark is reduced from the total marks for each wrong answers.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have a graduation degree from any recognized University under Gujarat Government with 50% marks can apply for the test. 45% marks is required for the SC/ST candidates. The final year graduate students can also apply for the test.

How to Apply?

The candidates have an option for online registration of the exam. The candidates have to download the Fee Challan form from the website www.gtu.ac.in . The candidates have to pay the fee at any bank using the challan form. There are different help centers for the exam. The copy of the challan should be given to any of the help centers. They provide the candidate an information bulletin and their User Id and password.  The candidates have to complete their online registration with this  ID and pass word. Those candidates who cannot able to register online for the exam can contact the Exam Controller of GTU.

How to fill the Form?

All the details for filling the form will be provided in the information brochure. After completely filling the form, the candidates have to take the print out copy of the form. The signed copy of the form and the self attested copies of the certificates should be presented at the help center and the candidates can receive an acknowledge receipt from there. The hall ticket for the exam will be there in the official website.

Score Validity

The exam score is valid only for the admission period of the academic year.
