Dahod District, which is otherwise spelled as Dohad District is located in the state of Gujarat in the western part of the nation. The administrative headquarters of the district is the city of Dohod. The district is spread over an area of 3642 kms2 and its population according to the 2001 census was 16,36,433 people. The district was established in the year 1997 on the 2nd of October and it was previously a part of Panchmahal District.
