Department of Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare is functioning under the Government of Tamil Nadu, which comes under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of Government of India. This sector works towards the backward community of the state of Tamil Nadu called Adi Dravidar and it has several schemes for the development of following different fields:

Like other government organizations, the above-mentioned public sector organizations working under the Department of Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare of Government of Tamil Nadu also have a number of departments like accounts, administration, finance, etc… For the proper execution of schemes proposed by the government and therefore, these organizations recruit candidates for different positions through Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, which is responsible for conducting competitive examinations for recruitment of candidates for different positions in government organizations in the state.

With a view to improve the chances of Adi Dravidar and Tribal community people to get recruited in government organizations, certain percentage of seats are reserved for these candidates when applications are invited for government jobs in Tamil Nadu.

About Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department:

According to a report and SC/ST candidates constitute nearly 20% of the total population of the state of Tamil Nadu. Government has taken every step to achieve the objective of creating a favourable environment for the speed socio-economic development of the tribals and adi dravidars by implementing and designing different welfare programmes.

The Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation working under this department implements economic development programmes apart from regular economic development programmes implemented by different sectoral department for the development of SC/ST community people. Thus, this sector also contributes to the development of this community people by offering them with a certain percentage of reserved seats in government jobs in the state of Tamil Nadu.

    my name is Gopinath and now i m doing B.E (ECE)in SRR engg college within 6 month i complete my degree…after finishing my degree i wanna job from adi dravider and tribal welfare.
