Haryana board is one of the poplar exam boards at the school level. Students of Haryana board have to undergo health & physical education papers during the 10th standard board exams. This is a very important subject in the light of increasing health problems and lack of exercise. This is a subject that most students are keen on studying.

Information on the subject and paper pattern

This paper is regarding health. This is a very important paper these days because of the increase in health problems in the country. The subject mainly focuses on various physical activists and foods. Chapters regarding healthy foods and unhealthy foods are a part of the subject.  This is a subject that will help the students to understand how to remain healthy and the importance of exercise.

The paper consists of objective type questions only. The paper does not contain any sections. There are 65 objective questions in the paper. To each question, four options will be provided and only one of the options will be correct. The candidate has to choose the most appropriate choice. The question paper is printed in both English and Hindi for improving its readability. There is no option of choosing in the paper. All the questions are compulsory and have to be answered by the candidates.

Marking scheme and duration of the paper

The paper is purely objective and each question carries a mark. So, the total mark of the paper is 65. There are no negative marks for answering the questions wrongly. The candidates need to score at least 35% for passing the exam. The candidates are allowed one and a half hour for answering the questions. Referring to previous year question papers will help a lot to understand the pattern better and also in understanding the type of questions that you may face for the exam.
