What are the required qualification for join defence academy?

Hello.....To join Naval Defence academy your age should be between 17 1/2 -19 years and you should be 12th passing or passed.
You have to write NDA exam which is conducted twice a year.If you qualify in it then you'll be called for SSB interview and on clearing that as well you'll have medicals.
After clearing these 3 stages successfully,you can join Defence academy if your name comes in the merit list.

No you can't join NDA.

NDA is conducted upsc twice in an year.

NDA is only for students from science stream.

It is only applicable for unmarried male candidates.

i like indian navy and army i am studying in 10class.i will complete my 10 class.

How much percentage is required to enter in n.d.a enterance exam or air force exam.

After Gradaution from Engineer following Defence job is available..

For that you have to appear in exams like- CDSE(combined defense service exam),
UES(University entry scheme)
etc..

Eligibility for CDS:-

For Indian Military Academy:-
* The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..
* The candidates age should be in between 19-24 years..

For Navy:-
*The candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field..
*The candidates age should be in between 19-22 years.

For Air force:-
*The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have physics and maths in 12th..
*The candidates age should be in between 19-23 years..

For UES:-

Eligibility criteria:-
*The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in engineering field with 60% aggregate in graduation..
*The candidates age should be in between 18-28 years..

NDA (National Defence Academy) is one of the platforms through which you can express your indomitable spirit for your own country India.

Eligibility for Indian Army :
1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination.

2:Marital Status:Unmarried

3:Sex :Male.

4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19.

5:Nationality:
You have to be A citizen of India, or
subject of Bhutan, or
subject of Nepal, or
Tibetan refugee .

Application Forms are published in any leading newspapers during March or April every year and entrance examination to be held by the UPSC six months later from the application form is published.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases :

i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).
ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality.
iii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB).

The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions.
i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event

After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection.

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.

If you want to join Indian Army you can join in two ways:-
>>N.D.A
>>C.D.S

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.519 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

Eligibility criteria for C.D.S:-
> Pass graduation with recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

Both the exam is conducted by U.P.S.C

can I have job in defence academy, my age is between 35-40 and I come Under other catergory, My qualification is B.sc II yr, I have done many computer software diplomas and can teach computers, or work online any kind of work I can also do accounting,

After passing 12th with any stream you have to qualify National Defence Academy exam.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 16.5 year and below 19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit (no major surgery)

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

IMPORTANT DATE FOR N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(II), 2013
Date Of Notification:-04.05.2013
Last date of submission of form:-03.06.2013 (MONDAY)
Date of exam:-11.08.2013 (SUNDAY)

This exam conducts Union Public Service Commission two times in a Year.

Eligibility:

Candidate complete the 10+2 from any recognized state board of India.

Candidate not required the percentage for this exam.

As we all know that NDA stands for National defence Academy and it is a exam conducted for candidate who wish to make a career in the Field of Indian Air force, Indian Army or in Indian Navy. The exam is conducted twice in a month and the minimum criteria for the exam is as follows:-

1. 16.5-19 years of age
2. No relaxation
3. Only Males candidate can apply
4. Only Indian citizen are eligible

6. Maths and Physics should be compulsory subject for Airforce and Navy
