Hello.....To join Naval Defence academy your age should be between 17 1/2 -19 years and you should be 12th passing or passed.
You have to write NDA exam which is conducted twice a year.If you qualify in it then you'll be called for SSB interview and on clearing that as well you'll have medicals. After clearing these 3 stages successfully,you can join Defence academy if your name comes in the merit list. All the best. |

After Gradaution from Engineer following Defence job is available.. For that you have to appear in exams like- CDSE(combined defense service exam), UES(University entry scheme) etc.. Eligibility for CDS:- For Indian Military Academy:- * The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.. * The candidates age should be in between 19-24 years.. For Navy:- *The candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field.. *The candidates age should be in between 19-22 years. For Air force:- *The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have physics and maths in 12th.. *The candidates age should be in between 19-23 years.. For UES:- Eligibility criteria:- *The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in engineering field with 60% aggregate in graduation.. *The candidates age should be in between 18-28 years.. NDA (National Defence Academy) is one of the platforms through which you can express your indomitable spirit for your own country India.
Eligibility for Indian Army : 1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination. 2:Marital Status:Unmarried 3:Sex :Male. 4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19. 5:Nationality: You have to be A citizen of India, or subject of Bhutan, or subject of Nepal, or Tibetan refugee . Application Forms are published in any leading newspapers during March or April every year and entrance examination to be held by the UPSC six months later from the application form is published. The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India. Each year course start twice January and July. Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases : i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality. iii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB). The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions. i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics. ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection. with 12 passed age between 161/2 to 19 appear for nda exam. conducted bu upsc. after that seccessfull csndidates are called gor ssb interview and than medical.

If you want to Join Indian Defence Then you can do this through the following ways : * a) NDA Examination b) CDS Examination Both these examinations are conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice every year. Both these examinations have their separate eligibility criteria. The Eligibility Criteria Required For NDA Examination are : * Educational Qualifications : 12th with PCM. * Age : 16.5-19 years. * Nationality : Indian. * Sex : Male * Marital Status : Unmarried * Physical Standards : You must be physically and mentally sound. The Eligibility Criteria Required For CDS Examination are : * Educational Qualifications : Graduation From any recognized University. * Age : 18-24 years. * Nationality : Indian. * Physical Standards : You must be physically and mentally sound. Defence Academy exam is the NDA. This exam conducts Union Public Service Commission two times in a Year. Eligibility: Candidate complete the 10+2 from any recognized state board of India. Candidate not required the percentage for this exam. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible but candidate should be citizen of India. Female candidates are not eligible for this exam. Candidate age limit should be 16.5 to 19 years. No age relaxation is applicable. Candidate should physically & Medically fit for this exam. Defence Academy means National Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

You have asked a question that become a very common fear among the candidate who are going to give the exam of NDA. As we all know that NDA stands for National defence Academy and it is a exam conducted for candidate who wish to make a career in the Field of Indian Air force, Indian Army or in Indian Navy. The exam is conducted twice in a month and the minimum criteria for the exam is as follows:- 1. 16.5-19 years of age 2. No relaxation 3. Only Males candidate can apply 4. Only Indian citizen are eligible 5. Only unmarried candidate are eligible 6. Maths and Physics should be compulsory subject for Airforce and Navy 7. For Army no subject barrier You have to enroll yourself to NDA at www.upsc.gov.in and after that you will be called by the upsc for the examination. and if you clear both written as well as Physical round then you will be selected by NDA.
