BITSAT is a 3 hour duration online test which is conducted every year for the recruitment of eligible candidates to the Integrated First Degree Programmes in Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) campuses in Hyderabad, Pilani, and Goa. The candidates those who have passed their 10+2 standard from a recognized board or equivalent with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for BITSAT.  The interested aspirants can apply for the test through the official website of the Institute.

Instructions to be followed for filling BITSAT Form

While filling the form, the candidates have to correctly mention the preferences to different degree programmes offered.  The 12th mark details have to be entered carefully without committing any sort of mistakes. The candidates can go through that before filling the form, so that they will get a clear idea regarding which course to select and the procedure for admittance.

Exemptions to be taken care while filling in BITSAT Form

The candidates should take special care while filling the form. All the details furnished should be exact and precise. If the candidates notice any error in the submitted form, they can apply online second time after which a letter to the admission office of BITS, Pilani. The same has to be sent clearly mentioning the earlier application number which will be cancelled. In such cases, the second application has to be accompanied by a fresh application fee. The applicants also make sure that the hardcopy of the application form along with the required enclosures reaches the admission office before the deadline.

Last date for receipt of applications

The deadline to apply for BITSAT will be by the mid week of February.

Fee structure of BITSAT Form

If the payment is in the form of Demand Draft, the prescribed fee would be Rs.1700/- (Rs.1200/- in case of female candidates). If the payment mode is other than DD, then the application fee for BITSAT is Rs.1600/- (Rs.1100/- for female candidates). If Dubai is opted as the test center, the application fee would be US $ 50 for both male and female candidates.
