How to secure admission in Balaji Institute of Modern Management?

AICTE and Government of India have approved all these colleges under Shri Balaji Society. There are four management colleges under this society which consider JEST score. The Joint Entrance Screening Test is conducted for admission into Ph. D courses in Theoretical Computer Science/Physics. The final selection is based on essay writing, personal interview and Group discussion.

The candidate should have completed Master Degree in Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Physics, etc. They should have minimum of 55% marks in their Master degree. Those who have appeared for their final degree exam can also apply for this test. The JEST exam conducted in last week of February.

Eligibility Criteria to join BIMM

Graduates of any discipline can apply for the courses offered. Those who are appearing for the final year test can apply too. As for admission into the PGDM- Executive Batch, applicants must be graduates with a minimum of 5 years experience in the area of Sales, Human Resource and other pertinent fields. These students must also produce their industry experience certificate that is attested by Director (HR) of the firm together with copies of their Appointment Letters and application form.

Admission Procedure to join BIMM

The admittance is done by the performance of students in the admission test. Following this a group discussion and individual interview will be carried out. The institution will accept scores of CAT, MAH-CET and MAT scores.

Structure of Joint Entrance Screening Test

They can opt for Physics or Theoretical Computer Science. The physics subject consists of 50 questions. This will carry maximum of 100 marks. The first half every question carries 1 mark and the second half each question carries 3 marks. It will all be objective in nature. For the Computer Science paper the questions are taken from the topics based on computer, reasoning etc. It will contain objective type, short answers and detailed problem solving questions.

Registration Process to join BIMM

The registration can be done by these methods:

  • Directly – Price of form is Rs.1500/-
  • By Post/ Courier – One must send a DD of Rs.1550/- taken in name of the president of Sri Balaji Society.
  • Downloadable – Print can be taken from the official website. It is to be filled and sent alongside the DD.
  • Forms can also be bought from chosen branches of Axis banks.

Fee Structure to join BIMM

  • The total fees that is to be paid by the students is Rs. 3, 00,000/-. The payment can be made in the following schedules:
  • Rs. 50,000/- soon after the declaration of the rank list.
  • Rs. 1, 50,000/- within a month of the reception of the admission letter.
  • Rs. 1, 00,000/- to be paid on the 1st of October 2011.

Important Dates

  • The Final Merit list will be published on the 8th of June, 2011
  • The last for the submitting the Admission fee is 18th June, 2011
  • The course will commence at 28th June, 2011.
