The candidates are taught the deep complexes of taxation in this paper. The topics which are taught in this paper central excise taxation, audit, sections, customs, value of product, etc.

Division of paper:

The question paper is divided into two parts as central excise taxation and service tax.

Time and marks allotted:

The total time duration in which the candidates are required to solve this question paper is of three hours and the maximum marks that can be secured in this paper are 100.

Paper Pattern:

There are total 8 questions in this paper. The question paper is divided into two parts. Part I of the paper contains questions based on the Central Excise Taxation. Part II of the paper contains the questions which are based on the topic service tax. The total marks for this paper is 100. There are total 4 questions in the Part I of the paper. Of the 4 questions, question 1 is compulsory. Two more questions are to be answered of the remaining three questions. There are also 4 questions in the Part II of the paper. Out of the 4 questions of this section only three are to be answered. Question 5 is compulsory of this section.
