Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode has invited application for the Executive Post Graduate Programme (Part Time). The course is being offered in Kochi campus. The duration of the course is 2 years. Both weekday and weekend classes are being offered. The minimum qualification required is graduation. CA and ICWA pass outs too can apply. Selection is based on entrance test and interview. The same will be conducted between 20th- 22nd December 2013.

Course Details

The second batch of the Executive Post Graduate Programme (Part Time) is scheduled to commence in February 2014. It is a 2 year programme and expected to finish by March 2016. The programme is designed to have 900 contact hours. The course duration has been divided into 8 quarters. A participative learning mode is followed. Also the students will have access to the library in both Kochi and Kozhikode.

Class Timings

Both weekday and weekend batches are available. Students opting for the weekday batch will need to devote 2.5 hours for four days. The class timing is from 6.45 pm to 9.30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The weekend classes will be held from Saturday afternoon i.e. 4 pm to 9.45 pm and full day on Sunday i.e. 9.45 am to 4 pm. So a total of 10 hours classes have been scheduled for each week. Each session will be of 1 hour 15 minutes. 75% attendance is compulsory.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who satisfy all the criteria mentioned below can apply

• Completed graduation in any stream, CA or ICWA
• Secured 50% in the qualifying exam
• 2 years post qualification experience

Admission Procedure

The following criteria will be considered as part of the selection procedure

• Academic record
• Relevant work Experience i.e. administrative, supervisory, technical, managerial roles in both service and non service industry
• Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT)
• Personal Interview

Executive Management Aptitude Test

The duration of the test is 1 hour. There will be a total of 60 questions. It is an aptitude oriented test and will carry negative marking. The test will cover areas like Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation, Logical reasoning and Numerical Ability.

Fee Details

The total fee to be paid is Rs. 695000/-. The same can be paid in 6 installments. The first installment to be paid is Rs 145000/-. Rs 110000/- should be paid for the remaining installments.

The evening batch will commence on 20th February 2014 and weekend batch will commence on 22nd February 2014.
