The Indian Institute of Journalism & New Media shortly called as IIJNM holds the pride of being one of the leading PG schools for journalism and media in South Asia. Courses offered:

The Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media offers the following courses:

• PG Diploma in Print, Broadcast or Online/multimedia journalism

• Graduate Diploma in Print, Broadcast or online/multimedia journalism

Both these courses include core courses that comprises of master’s thesis project, media workshops, electives and advanced seminars. These courses are offered by the institute in two semesters being July – December and January – June.

Eligibility Requirements:

For getting into the one-year PG Diploma course offered by the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media, candidates must have completed their UG degree in any discipline and even candidates in the final year of their degree course can apply to this course. Candidates, who have completed their higher secondary or who are waiting for their higher secondary or pre-university results are eligible to apply to the graduate diploma course offered by the institute.

Admission Procedure:

Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will have to take up online aptitude test followed by a personal interview.

Hostel Facility at IIJNM:

The courses offered by IIJNM required intense study for one year and therefore all students are required to preferably stay in the college dormitory located next to the college campus; however, some exemption is granted.
