This prestigious Institute sprung into existence in the year 2008 and is one of the most recent IIT’s to be established. The academic boom experienced by the Institute after only two years of existence is beyond comprehension. The institute has also been amongst the first to exploit the incredible benefits of the students exchange program. This program has not been accepted by most of the IIT’s in the last twenty years.

Infrastructure or Campus:

The infrastructure of the campus is amazingly world standard and is so equipped that it became only the first IIT to co-ordinate a cultural fest in its first year of existence. The campus has lots of greenery dedicated area balanced with specific areas dedicated for Students Recreational Activities Centers. The campus area also houses sports related areas.

Courses Offered:

The Institute houses both Under Graduate as well as Post Graduate level degree in different Engineering Streams. The names of the streams in which the Institute offers UG Based courses are Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The names of the discipline in which the PG Based degree Ph. D are offered are Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, etc.

Admission Process:

The candidates that are interested in undertaking admission to this prestigious institute have to appear for a national based entrance test called IIT-JEE. The candidates that have secured the cut off level marks within the exam are allotted seats for counseling only after which are they offered admission in the college as according to the availability of the seats.

Placements:

The placement record of the Institute is outstanding with companies such as Wipro, Infosys, HCL Technologies, Sony, Microsoft, Google, etc recruiting candidates.
