Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi (Delhi)
Jamia Millia Islamia also known as an Islamic University is termed as Central University by the Indian Parliament in the year 1988. It was originally founded in 1920 at Aligarh. The University is one amongst the top universities of India which offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the candidates. The University is well recognized by the UGC, New Delhi. It puts all its strength for brooming the students in the field of education and hence it earns a high reputation in India.
Infrastructure:
The university provides state of art infrastructure facility to the students. It offers world class library facility to the students. The University also provides a number of computer labs and internet connections, residential facility to the students. The University has 614 faculty members and more than 900 staff members working for the students who are in total strength of 15400.

Admission Procedure:
The candidates have to collect an application form and prospectus which is available by paying some prescribed money. The candidates have to appear for an entrance exam and an interview.

The university has excellent records about the placement of the students. The university also offers well known companies of India to visit this university and provide jobs to its students. Some of the well known firms of India: TCS, INFOSYS, COGNIZENT, IBM etc.
