Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s Education Society has established this college under the leadership of Prof. T.J. Sawant. JSPM runs more than five engineering colleges, 3 pharmaceutical colleges and 3 colleges for providing Bachelor of Education. This college imparts quality education from the year of its inception in 2001 in outstanding infrastructure. This institute is affiliated to Pune University and is approved by the norms of AICTE, New Delhi.

Admission:

The students are selected for admission based on the marks obtained by Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP) followed by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. For engineering discipline, admission is made through AIEEE/ CET and for Business Management Courses it is guided through MH-MBA-CET. Each year the cut off marks for the common entrance test is decided by the expert authorities.

Facilities offered:

The library of this college updates its collection in the way of printable and non printable materials and it holds around 18700 volumes of books, apart from journals and CD’s. The college also provides to the students to gain access in British Library and ARAI library. Of late, it strives to get membership with IIT, Powai library also. The college hostel is located in spacious atmosphere and is available as three persons sharing accommodation in one room. Number of buses transports students from all corners of Pune city daily.

Placement:

The training cell involves in giving practical training programs in aptitude tests, communication skills. It also guides the students on the methods of facing personal interviews. Emphasis is laid on getting at least 55% marks without any arrears for getting placement through on campus recruitment. TCS, WIPRO, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Kirloskar and Cognizant Technologies are some of the major employers who recruit students.
