Junior Engineer, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission
Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was established under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India. The commission was constituted by the Governor of Uttarakhand. The strength of the commission is comprises of a Chairman and four other members. The commission fucntions as per the regulations of Uttarakhand Public Service commission Procedure and Conduct of Business Rule-2007. The main duty of the commission is to conduct examinations for making appointment to the services of the Union and the services of the states.
Job Profile:
Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is going to conduct a competitive written examination followed by a interview test for making appointment of eligible Indan Citizens on the position of Junior Engineers. Selection candidates will get posted in PWD and some other departments. Only eligible candidates are invited to apply for the following positions.
1. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil):
No. of posts: 610 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
2. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Electrical):
No. of posts: 13 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
3. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Mechanical):
No. of posts: 109 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
4. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Agriculture):
No. of posts: 46 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
Age Limit:
Candidates are required to have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit i.e. 21 years. Also, candidate’s age should not exceed 35 years as on 1 July 2011. Candidates, who fails to fulfill this age criteria, are advised to not to apply for any of the specified positions. Reserved categories candidates will be provided relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules of Government of India.
Application Fee:
Rs. 180 is the amount of application fee for all the interested candidates. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories (Uttarakhand only), are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 90 only. Candidates must submit this application fee by the means of a demand Draft or Postal Order. The demand draft should be made in favour of Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Haridwar payable at Haridwar. Also, candidates should write their name and address at the backside of their demand draft.
How to apply: Candidates can obtain the OMR application form from deisgnated Post Offices in Uttarkhand state. Candidates should send the completely filled in application form alongwith other enclosures to the below mentioned address. Applications should be sent only by Registered Post or Speed Post only.
