The Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is one of Asia’s largest defense contractors and a leading aerospace manufacturer, headquartered in New Delhi, India. It was formed in 1958 by the merger of Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production with the Defense Science Organization. It has many laboratories which are basically involved in developing. Defense technologies covering various disciplines, like aeronautics, armaments, electronic and computer sciences, human resource development, life sciences, materials, missiles, combat vehicles development and naval research and development. The organization includes more than 5,000 scientists and about 25,000 other scientific, technical and supporting personnel.

The candidates should bring an application form in the prescribed format addressed to Director, RAC, Delhi along with the attested copies of relevant certificates showing date of birth, educational qualifications and percentage of marks etc. Candidates should bring with them their entire original certificates failing which they will not be allowed for interview. Those having qualified UGC/ CSIR NET shall be preferred. Candidates reporting after 10 hrs will not be entertained. The date for the interview is 14th December, 2009.
