Profile:
Institute of Life Sciences was established on February 11, 1989 by Government of orissa. Later the institute was established again in the year 2002 by Government of India. The institute is located in the state of Bhubaneshwar. The main objective of the institute is to undertake basic and translational research in frontier areas of life sciences.
Job profile:
Candidates can apply for the post of Junior Research Fellows in the Institute of Life Sciences.
Eligibility:
Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age as on 31 December 2009.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have Master’s degree or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks in any branch of Life Sciences with UGC/CSIR/ICMR-NET/DBT with fellowship or (NET-LS) without fellowship are eligible to apply.
Pay Scale : Rs. 12000 + house rent allowance as per rules.
Selection Process:
Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. Mere eligibility will not vest any right on any candidates for being called for interview.
