About Examination:
The Karnataka Public Service Commission is amongst the popular service commission exams in India. Every year, plenty of students come to take part in this exam. There are plenty of choices available for the students in different course fields. There are also numerous divisions of papers in this examination. The major advantage of qualifying this exam is to get a standard government job.
Examination Scheme:
The Karnataka Service Commission is adjusted as per the rules of 1997. According to this rule, the examination is distributed in three different sections. First one is preliminary examination which is mainly based on objective type’s questions. The successful candidates can move on to next procedure which is main examination. The main examination is considered to be the tough part of this examination and is followed by the personality test.
Paper description:
The Karnataka Public Service Commission Zoology (Paper I) Papers covers the information, relation and mechanism of different living animals, humans, insects etc. The main exam include four sections like A, B, C and D. The first section includes short notes type questions carrying five marks each. The 2nd section contains a maximum of ten questions carries 10 marks individually. The next part includes six questions which will add 90 marks to the question set. Candidates are allowed to choose any three questions from the last section, in which each question is of 30 marks. Candidates must attempt all the questions from part A, B and C so that they can attempt three questions from group D.
Total time and full marks:
The Karnataka Public Service Commission Zoology (Paper I) Papers gives valuable marks of 300 in this examination by which candidates can eligible to sit for personality test. The total time given for this paper is three hours to answer all the questions.
