Karnataka Religious & Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA) or Karnataka Minority Colleges Association (KMCA) is the one-roof association for all religious and linguistic minority Medical, Dental and Engineering colleges of Karnataka.

KRLMPCA conducts an entrance test for admission of students to the Medical, Dental and Engineering stream courses by Medical, Dental and Engineering Minority Colleges of Karnataka called as KRLMPCA CET.

Admission Procedure for KRLMPCA:

Allotment of seats will be on the basis of merit determined by ranking secured in CET conducted by the association(KRLMPCA).50% of marks in the KRLMPCA CET is a must for eligibility of admission to the medical, dental and engineering courses. Then the short-listed candidates would have to attend a session of counseling and those selected would be provided with provisional allotment orders.

Pattern of KRLMPCA CET examination:

KRLMPCA-CET is a Multiple Choice Objective Type test. The candidates have to mark the correct answers on the OMR Answer sheets. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Syllabus for KRLMPCA CET examination:

The question papers of KRLMPCA-CET are normally prepared on the basis of the syllabus of the First and Second PUC papers prescribed by the Pre-University Education Department of the state of Karnataka.

Eligibility for KRLMPCA CET examination:

Eligibility for Medical / Dental courses:

• Candidates should have passed II PUC /10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry Biology as compulsory subjects and English as one of the language of study.

• Candidates should have secured minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Eligibility for Engineering courses:

• Candidates should have passed II PUC / 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio Technology / Computer Science / Biology / Electronics as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study.

• Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% of marks in the optional subjects.
