Nalanda Open University popularly known as NOU is a university located in the Indian state of Bihar and is operating from the state capital Patna. The university came into existence in the year 1987 on the month of March and it was named after the popular Buddhist University of Nalanda, which is ancient seat of learning. Nalanda Open University Act was passed in the year 1995 and the university holds the pride of being the only university in the state of Bihar offering education through open and distance learning.
With the objective of offering education to people deprived of formal education, the university follows the norms of flexibility pertaining to course structure, admission and eligibility. The university has nearly 30 study centres located in different parts of the state of Bihar, not only in big cities, but also in small towns catering to the educational requirement of every section of community.
Nalanda Open University offers courses under different levels of education like certificate courses, intermediate courses, UG courses, etc… through the different schools functioning under its control. Main Nalanda Open Univercity se M.Ed(Master of education) ka course distance education system se karna chahta hun. Main B.Ed kar ke Teacher ke post par 6 sal se karyrat hun. Eske liye mujhe kya karna hai ?
