List of Fire Engineering Entrance Exams
Fire Engineering is the utilization of the principles of Engineering and Science to protect people and the surroundings from the destructive consequences of smoke and fire. Those individual who practice fire engineering are called as Fire Engineers. There are numerous institutions in India that offers interested students with certificate as well as diploma courses in fire engineering. The candidates are required to appear for an entrance exam to join this course. The minimum age of candidates who are applying for the Fire Engineering course should be no less than 19 years and not more than 24 years.

Career prospects
Students of Fire Engineering can find employment in both private and public sectors. They can find jobs with chemical or inflammable products manufacturing firms like petroleum refineries, textiles, fertilizers, fire departments of local government and aircraft industry in addition to insurance companies. They can also work as surveyors in insurance firms. The job of a fire engineer in insurance firms is to provide the correct assessment of the loss their clients have faced in damages caused by fires. Candidates who are employed as Assistant or Junior Fire Engineer have a salary of Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 25,000 a month. With more experience and proficiency in this area candidates will be able to earn more.
