Integrated Child Development Scheme was launched in the year 1975 with the objective of improving the nutritional and health status of children in the age group 0-6 years. The scheme is considered to be one of the largest as well as unique programme for the early childhood development, of the world. Reducing the incidence of mortality, malnutirtion and school dropout, and enhancing the capability of mother for fulfilling the needs of the child are the another main objectives of the scheme. Integrated Child Development Scheme has shown a significant progress in recent times.

Job Profile:

Directorate Child Development and Nutrition is making recruitment of eligible candidates on the vacant position of Lower Division Clerk under Integrated Child Development Scheme. Candidates are required to ensure their eligibility conditions before applying for the specified position.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post is 18 years as on 1 January 2011.
The maximum age limit set for the post is 35 years as on 1 January 2011.

Candidates belonging to resereved categories will get relaxation of few years in the prescribed upper age limit set for the post of Lower Division Clerk in Integrated Child Development Scheme.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have done Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board for applying for the post of Lower Division Clerk in Integrated Child Development Scheme. Candidates should also have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi. Candidates, who are not having the prescribed minimum educational qualification, should not apply for the post.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 5200-20200 with a Garde Pay of Rs. 1900.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 200 is need to be submitted by the General and OBC categories candidates for applying for the post of Lower Divison Clerk. SC/ST candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 100 only. Candidates should pay this application fee in the form of a Demand Draft or Postal Order drawn in favour of Director, Child Development and Nutrition, Uttar Pradesh.

How to apply: Eligible candidates should send the dully filled in application form alongwith the other required enclosures on or before the last date for the reciept of application.
