Mukhya Sevika, Integrated Child Development Scheme
Integrated Child Development Scheme was launched on October 2, 1975 under the Government of India. The scheme is considered as one of the largest and unique programmes present in world for providing early childhood development. One of the major objective of the scheme is to improve the nutritional and health status of children in the age group 0-6 years. Reducing the incidence of mortality, morbility and school dropout is one of the another prime objective of the sceheme. The scheme comes under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
Job Profile:
Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Mukhya Sevika in Integrated Child Development Scheme. Only female candidates are invited to apply for the specified position in Integrated Child Development Scheme.
Eligibility:
Candidates are required to be within the prescribed age limit for applying on the specified post. The minimum age limit set for the post of Mukhya Sevika is 21 years while the maximum age limit set for the post is 35 years. Relaxation of few years in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
Educational Qualification:
Graduation in Sociology from a recognized institute is required as the minimum educational qualification for applying for the post of Mukhya Sevika in Integrated Child Development Scheme. Candidates having Graduation as qualification in the field of Social Science/ Social Work/ Home Science/ Child Development or equivalent are also eleigible to apply for the respective post. Interested candidates must possess the above specified educational qualification for applying in Integrated Child Development Scheme.
No. of posts: Total 2132 posts are available.
General category candidates: Total 1066 posts are available.
SC category candidates: Total 448 posts are available.
ST category candidates: Total 42 posts are available.
OBC category candidates: Total 576 posts are available.
Application Fee:
Application fee of Rs. 200 is required to be submitted by the General and OBC categories candidates. SC/ST candidates are required to deposit the application fee of Rs. 100 only. The application fee must be paid through the means of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, Child Development and Nutrition, Uttar Pradesh.
Selection Committee:
The final selection of candidates on the specified position in Integrated Child Development Scheme will be made only through the conduct of a personal interview test on specified date. Candidates should perform well in the personal interview test.
How to apply: Application form in the prescribed format must reach to the desired address on or before the last date for the reciept of application. The application form alongwith the other required enclosures must be sent through Registered post or Speed Post. The address to which all the required enclosures must be sent is:
