This admission test is an online test conducted by Manipal University. This test is conducted for the admission of candidates to the Master of Computer Application (MCA) course offered at the constituent college of Manipal University.

Duration of this online test will be one and half hours. Multiple choice objective questions will be asked in this online test. Number of questions specified for each subject in this test is given below.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should possess Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 50% aggregate to apply for this test. They should have also studied Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science in plus two. Otherwise, they should have studied Mathematics or Statistics in their Bachelor’s degree. If the candidates possess Bachelor’s Degree through Distance mode, then they need minimum three years work experience in the concerned field to become eligible to apply for this test.

How to Apply?

Applicants can make use of either online or offline facility of the University to apply for this test. Details of both facilities are given below

Online: Applicants should visit the website www.manipal.edu and fill the form online. They can submit the forms online, if they prefer fee payment through Debit Cards, Credit Cards or Net Banking. If they prefer to make fee payment through Demand Draft, then print out of the completed form should be taken. This print out along with the DD should be sent to the concerned authority within stipulated date. DD should be taken in the name of Manipal University from any nationalized bank. It should be payable at Manipal or Udupi.

Offline: Applicants can purchase the forms from the selected branches of State Bank of India or Syndicate Bank after paying the required application fee. They can also receive the forms through post on sending a DD of required application fee to the Director, Admissions, Manipal University, Manipal – 576104 along with a request letter. After filling the forms, it should be sent to the concerned authority along with the DD of entrance fee within the stipulated date.

Application fee for this test will be Rs. 500/- and the entrance fee will be Rs. 1000/-.

How to fill the Form?

While filling the forms online, applicants should first enter the basic information. They will get an application number and password after submitting this information. Applicants can use it for later purposes. Then the applicants should enter the details of fee payment. Then they should enter their personal information. After that they should upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature. If they are filling the form offline, then they should use their own handwriting.  Applicants should affix the photograph on the specified space on the form of this online test. They should also put their signature at appropriate place on the form.
