Central University of Karnataka was incorporated by an Act of Parliament (No. 3 of 2009) under Government of India. The university resulted as one of the 16 new central universities established by the Government of India. THe university was established during the UGC XI Plan Period with the aim of addresssing to the concerns of equity and access. The university also aims to increase the access to the quality higher education by people in less developed districts of the state. The university is currently functioning from its temporary campus.

Job Profile:

Qualified Indian individuals are invited to apply in the prescribed format for the following positions of Medical Attendant, Lab Attendant, Office Attendant, Attendant (Hostels) and Attendant (Kitchen) in Central University of Karnataka.

1. Recruitment of Medical Attendant/Dresser:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Science subjects or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should also have atleast 2 years of working experience as a dresser.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

2. Recruitment of Lab Attendant:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualification: SSC passed or equivalent from a recognized board with science subjects is required as the minimum educational qualification for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

3. Recruitment of Peon/Office Attendant:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualification: SSC passed or equivalent from a recognized board is required as the minimum educational qualification for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

4. Recruitment of Attendant (Hostels):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualification: SSC passed or equivalent from a recognized board is required as the minimum educational qualification for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

5. Recruitment of Attendant (Kitchen):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years.
Educational Qualification: SSC passed or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should also have experience of working in Hostels or Canteens.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

SC/ST/PH candidates need not to pay the application fee. General and OBC categories candidates are required to submit an application fee nof Rs. 300 through the means of a crossed Demand Draft. The demand draft is required to be drawn in favour of Central University of Karnataka payable at Gulbarga. The demand draft should be drawn on any Nationalized bank.
