Profile:

Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) was estbalished in the year 1962. Intially the institute was named as Nehru Hospital after being inaugurated by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru on July 7, 1963. Initially the institute was established under the Government of Punjab. Later, the administrative control of the institute passed on to the Union Territory of Chandigarh. The institute was established as an autonomous institute under the Act of Parliament in 1967.

Candidates can apply for the posts of Medical Physicist in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than the 35 years of age. Relaxation is available as per government rules.

Educational Qualification:

M.Sc. in Medical Physics from any recognized institute or university is required for applying for the posts of Medical Physicist in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary of Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Selection process:

Candidates selection on the above specified post will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the written test as well as the personal interview test.
