Motilal Nehru Law College was established in the year 1961 with the aim of producing high end lawyers that will dedicate their live in proficient of the state Justice department and so has the name been rekindled with these candidates through several years of existence. The Institute is directly affiliated to the Gujarat University and has been considered to be one of the best Law based college in India.

Infrastructure and Campus:

The Institute houses all host of infrastructural facilities that allows it to uniquely impart law based education to the candidates. These features ranges from Computer lab equipped with high speed internet connection, Moot court room, etc. The Campus also offers specific areas that are dedicated to students recreational activities.

Courses Offered:

The Institute offers an Under Graduate level degree in Law, namely LLB. The Institute also offers BL in both the special as well as general form, apart from the normal mentioned. All of them are three years based courses.

Admission Procedure:

The candidates have to appear for a Written based selection test held at a state level. Those of the aspiring candidates, who manage to clear the cut off marks, as decided by the Examination Committee, are called for Personal Interview. The final admission list is put forward after assessing the overall marks obtained in both the level of admission stage, namely the entrance exam and PI.

Placement:

The Institute does not hold any specific placement but allows the candidates to practice in the Justice Department. The level of court as well as the area introduced depends upon the experience as well as overall marks obtained by the individual candidate in their academic years.
