Gujarat technological university is a statewide university headed by the state government itself. This university provides many esteemed degrees apart from engineering like in pharmacy, management etc.

Computer science is one of the major branches of any engineering degree. Now, for a second year student of this department, Computer Organization and Architecture is a highly scoring and base forming subject. Hence with learning of the syllabus, knowing about the paper pattern is also of equal importance.

Are there any sections to be expected in the paper?

There are no sections in this paper.

What is the overall pattern paper and the no. of questions to be answered?

The Computer Organization paper has 5 questions in all. Each question has atleast one sub-part. Attempting the entire question is important. Also almost every question has an ‘or’ that is a choice; for example, a student can answer either the above set of questions or the below set of questions belonging to question no.1 and so on.

How are the marks distributed?

It is a question paper of 70 marks where each question is of 14 marks in total that is 7 marks each of the 2 sub-parts.

What is the time limit?

The time allotted to every candidate for completing the examination is 2 and a half hour.

What should be the approach?

Questions are asked from almost all the modules of the syllabus. Hence, it is adviced that students must go through their syllabus with utmost care so that they can answer well in the examination. Though you would get choices in the examination, you may not get choices from the same topics.
