National Board of Examination 2010 DNB: CET
National Board of Examination is an autonomous organization of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. National Board of Examination is one of the reputed Boards which conduct the Entrance test for admission into DNB Program. NBE conducts DNB Program at various accredited medical colleges / hospitals / Institutions. DNB is a recognized qualification of Indian Medical Council Act, and Government of India.
The course that is offered by the NBE is not an ordinary one. So the students pursuing it are also not ordinary and are thus termed different from others. They have huge responsibilities on their shoulders, and have to work efficiently for the welfare of the society.
Courses offered by the NBE:
• 3 year post graduate (post MBBS) DNB Program
Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidate has to appear in centralized NBE: DNB Test for entrance into this program
• Candidate must have completed MBBS from the recognized University with at least 60 % aggregate to be eligible for this course.
• Those candidates pursuing their degree in final year are also eligible for this course.
How to Apply:
A candidate needs to avail the application form from the various sources. The application form can be availed either by downloading from the official website or by collecting in person from the designated places. The information about the places is also provided by the website.
After the form is availed, one needs to fill the form completely with all the necessary data. After filling the form completely, one needs to send it to the mentioned place on or before the last date of submission. One should take special care that the form must be submitted before the last date of submission.

• Commencement of next session: mid or second week of the month of June, 2010.
• Commencement of issue of application forms: second week of the month of February, 2010.

Notice from DNB board dated 9thJuly.2007 reported that doctor having Post graduate Diploma in Geriatrics Medicine (PGDGM) from IGNOU are eligible for final DNB examination in Family Medicine.
