The Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established as a joint venture between Government of Punjab and Government of India and was previously known as Punjab Regional Engineering College. The institute was started in the year of 1987 and on 17th October, 2002 the institute was granted the status of deemed university by the government of India. The institute is known for its excellent education system and also has well experienced and qualified faculty members for its students.
