About the Examination:

The National Eligibility test is one of the most prestigious examinations in India and tests an individual on the subject of his excellence to carry on lectureship or grants junior research fellowship.

Examination Pattern:

The examination of NET has various subjects and is an objective type based question format used to test one excellence in one’s own subject of interest. There are two papers in this particular subject paper 2 and paper 3.Papaer three is a subjective based question and again has two types A and B.A has 10 long essay type answers each having 16 marks and B has a compulsory question section.

About the Paper:

Computer science and application paper 2 is an objective type question. People with a background of this subject can appear for this examination .It tests examinee on the basis of basic concepts of the syllabus.

Syllabus:

The syllabus is quite vast and has bits and parts of many subjects like mathematics as in set theory, probability, mutual information, Computer science related mathematics like Boolean logic, WFF. It also has concepts of tress, spanning tree, graphs, C and C++ programming, Database and r-DBMS  computer networks, UNIX etc.

Paper pattern:

The computer science and applications paper 2 is an objective based question paper and it has all questions compulsory. There are a total of 50 questions that an examinee requires to attempt and there are 4 options to each question, a, b, c, and d. One needs to mark against the right answer.

Full marks of the question and the time allotted:

The total marks of the paper are 100, and the answers to all the questions are to be written in the time span of 1 and 1/4th hours only.
