There are three sections in the paper. The first two sections consist of very long answer type questions. The last one has short answers.

Time and Total Marks:

The duration of the test is four hours and the total marks are 100.

Paper Pattern:

There are three sections in the paper. The first section has four questions, out of which the students have to answer any two. Each question carries 18 marks. This section is of 36 marks in total. The second section has six questions with a choice to answer any three. Each question is of 12 marks. This section is also of 36 marks. The last section consists of eight questions, among which four are to be answered. Each question is of seven marks. The sub total of this section is 28 marks.

Important To Understand

The paper has all subjective questions. So the paper can be considered to be a lengthy one. There are ample choices so good marks can be scored. Practicing previous question papers can be very useful in scoring well in the exam.
