North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Law Entrance Exam 2012
North Maharashtra University conducts Ph.D Entrance Exam (PET) every year for the admittance of the eligible candidates to the Ph.D programme.
Structure of North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Law Entrance Exam
This Entrance Exam comprises of two sections. The first section includes questions of research aptitude type and the second paper is associated to the subject. The first section will be of purely objective type. 50 questions will be there in this section each carrying 2 marks. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The second section consists of both objective type as well as descriptive type questions. Objective type questions will carry a total of 20 marks and descriptive type questions will be of 80 marks. The test will be for 180 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Law Entrance Exam, the candidates should have completed their post graduate degree with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university. Those with bachelor’s degree can also apply provided they have 15 years of experience in the allied fields.
How to Apply?
The application form along with the information brochure of North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Law Entrance Exam can be obtained from the official website of the University http://www.nmu.ac.in/. Online registration has to be done and the hard copy of the completed application form has to be sent to the Director, Board of Colleges and University Development (BCUD), North Maharashtra University, Umavi Nagar, Jalgaon-425001. The applicants should also attach a DD of Rs.500/- (350/- in case of reserved category candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon payable at Jalgaon along with the form.
How to fill the Form?
The application form has to be very carefully filled without committing any errors. It’s better to have a look on the information brochure which contains all the procedures of filling the form. Based on those instructions, all the columns have to be filled. The candidates also need to write the application form number, name and address on the reverse side of the D.D.

The candidates need to prepare well so as to get through the exam. The first and foremost step the candidates should do is to set up a well planned timetable. The timetable should comprise of each and every topic in the syllabus of the exam. The time should be allotted depending on the topics difficulty level. The atmosphere one chooses to study is also important. A calm and quiet environment should be selected.
