North Maharashtra University conducts Ph.D in Statistics Entrance Exam annually for selecting eligible students for admission into Ph.D in Statistics course offered at the University. The University also conducts separate entrance exams for admitting aspirants into a variety of other courses offered there.

Structure of North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Statistics Entrance Exam

The test includes two sections. The first section comprises research aptitude level questions and the next paper is related to the subject itself. The test consists of objective type as well as descriptive nature questions. The first section includes objective type questions and there will be 50 questions and every question will be carrying 2 marks. No negative marking will be there for wrong answers. The 2nd section includes both objective type and also descriptive nature questions. The maximum marks one can obtain in both these papers will be 100.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who hold a Post Graduate degree in Statistics or allied field with at least 50% marks can apply for this exam. The qualifying degree should be completed from a recognized University which should be a member of AIU, New Delhi.

How to apply?

The application form can be accessed from the official website of the University. The applicants should fill the form online and then they should click the submit button. The submit button must be clicked after completing all the details. They should take a print out of the form They should attach a DD of Rs.500/- and send along with the form to Director, Board of Colleges and University Development (BCUD), North Maharashtra University, Umavi Nagar, Jalgaon-425001. The reserved category applicants need to attach a DD of Rs.350/- only.

• Contact details and also qualification details should be entered accurately in the provided places
• Category details and date of birth should be correctly mentioned
• Signature and thumb impression should be put in specified places
• Photographs should be firmly affixed in appropriate places
