Company profile: NPCIL is a public sector company under the control of Department of Atomic Energy (govt. of India). It operates atomic energy stations and promoting atomic energy projects for the generation of electricity. The main objective is to increase the production and maintenance of nuclear energy in India and to strengthen the quality services related to nuclear energy.

Job Profile: The candidates are required to operate and maintain the nuclear power systems. They are also required to maintain the quality standards. They need to support their immediate seniors.

Eligibility: This recruitment is only for SC/ST and OBC categories.
A candidate must be between the age of 18 and 25 year as on 01/05/09.
The candidates must have a minimum height of 160 cms and weight 45.5 kgs.

No. of posts and vacancies:
1. Diploma holders (Trainee) – SC 01, ST – 04 and OBC – 04.
2. Science Graduates (Trainee) – ST – 01.
3. Operator (Trainee) – ST – 05.
4. Maintainer (Trainee) – SC – 01 and ST – 11.

Qualification:
For post 1: Diploma or Licentiate recognized by ministry of HRD with minimum 60% in electrical/mechanical/chemical/instrumentation.
For post 2: B.Sc physics with minimum 60%.
For post 3: 10+2 with 50% in Science and Maths individually
For post 4: 10th with 50% in Science and Maths individually and 2 years ITI certificate fitter, mechanic, electrician and welder.

Training and bond: There will be a training of 11/2 – 2 years and a bond of Rs. 118500 for post 1 & 2 and Rs. 109500 for post 3 & 4.
Pay scale: For posts 1 and 2 the pay scale is Rs. 9300+Grade pay of Rs. 4200.
For posts 3 and 4 the ay scale is Rs. 5200+Grade pay of Rs. 2000.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will have to appear in the written test followed by an interview (will be intimated later).
