Bank profile: Malwa Gramin Bank was established in the year 1986. It is a reputed bank in Punjab. It has a large no. of facilities for its customers like agricultural loans, personal banking and distinct deposit schemes etc. It has been focusing mainly on the rural sector and is work for its progress.
Job profile: The officers will be responsible for handling and managing the operations of the bank and also for the execution of their departmental activities. They will be required to support their superior members and also maintain the customer relations.
Eligibility: A candidate must be 26 years or below in age. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must atleast be a graduate from a recognized university or an institution. A candidate must have passed Punjabi language upto the matric level. A candidate must have good knowledge of computers. A candidate having a professional qualification like engineering, MCA, chartered accountant will be given the preference.
No. of posts: There are 38 posts total which include 18 posts for GEN, 8 posts for OBC and 12 posts for SC candidates.
Pay scale: The officers will be given the scale I and a pay scale of Rs10000-18240 plus other facilities as per the rules.
Selection process: The candidates will have to undergo a written test (which will be objective) and the candidates who clear the test will be called for the interview.
How to apply: The candidates have to apply as per the format available on the website. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs350 (Rs50 in case of SC/ST) in the form of a DD drawn in the favor of Malwa Gramin Bank- Recruitment Project 2009 payable at Sangrur. The candidates should attach the attested copies of their documents and send it to Post Box No. 8451, Mandpeshwar, Borivali West, Mumbai - 400103
The last date for submitting the applications is 24th November 2009.
The test will be held on 24th January 2010.
